The Angels Baseball organization is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Seasonal Event Sweeper to join our team at Angel Stadium in Los Angeles. This exciting opportunity will involve maintaining a clean and safe environment during events, working closely with the Ballpark Operations Department to ensure seamless event execution.
Job Summary:
This role is responsible for monitoring concourses and restrooms, removing and disposing of trash, and responding promptly to cleaning calls during events. As an Event Sweeper, you will be the face of our organization, ensuring that our facilities are presented in their best light for fans and guests.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect and clean seating areas, concourses, and restrooms before events
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, replenish supplies, and remove and dispose of trash
- Monitor assigned concourses and areas, sweeping trash and mopping spills
- Assist with setup and breakdown of special events, moving equipment and materials
- Respond promptly to cleaning issues as directed by staff and management
Requirements:
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and operation of cleaning equipment preferred
- Effective communication skills (verbal)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment around large groups
- Available to work approximately 3 hours prior to start of events
Benefits:
- Salary: $16.50 per hour effective January 1, 2025
- Complimentary tickets to games (12 per season)
