ACHS Management Group is seeking an experienced Community Director to assist and support the Executive Director in managing all aspects at one of our assisted living communities in Pinellas County. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of two years’ experience as a Community Director in a large assisted living community and a true passion for people.

The key responsibilities of this position include assisting the Executive Director in the day to day operations of the community. You will assist in hiring and supervising employees and ensuring adequate staffing. Maintaining and enhancing resident independence and satisfaction is a key role. Participating in sales and marketing activities and maintaining high occupancy through marketing strategies is a key factor to your success.
We seek an experienced Community Director who understands the day to day operations of a large assisted living community. Ability to maintain a secure physical environment and build an outstanding team takes skills and dedication. A proven track record is a must.

The Community Director will be responsible for:
- Promoting the community and touring prospective residents
- Move in process with new residents
- Remaining current on open inventory, pending move-ins and potential move-outs
- Ensuring all state regulations and company policies are followed
- Assisting in the development of budget
- Conducting regular team meetings
- Promoting an open door policy for all residents, family members and associates
- Monitoring resident care on a daily basis
- Implementing the emergency procedures when necessary
- Leading the recruitment and selection process for new hires
- Coordinating training classes and orientation programs for new hires to ensure training is current and well documented
- Maintaining payroll records, evaluations, and personnel files
