Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and mobility support, in accordance with each client's care plan.
- Encourage and support clients in performing as much of their personal care as possible to maintain independence.
- Assist with meal preparation and serve meals to clients, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration while respecting their preferences and dietary needs.
- Observe and document clients’ eating habits, physical conditions, and emotional well-being, and report any significant changes to the supervisor.
- Promote social engagement by facilitating participation in leisure and planned activities, fostering friendships, and encouraging a sense of community.
- Maintain accurate daily records, including documentation of activities, observations, medication assistance (if applicable), and incidents, as per company policies.
- Keep the environment clean, safe, and organized by performing light housekeeping tasks, including laundry, kitchen cleaning, and maintaining common areas.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies or client requests, adhering to established protocols.
Qualifications:
Authorization to work in the United States.High school diploma or GED equivalent.At least one year of experience in a caregiving role (professional or personal, such as assisting a child or adult family member).Proof of vaccination status (vaccinated or unvaccinated candidates welcome; documentation required prior to client care).Flexible availability to work day shifts, including short and irregular hours as needed.
