Position: Caregiver

Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Assist with medication reminders and ensure clients take their prescribed medications as directed.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals, taking into account any dietary restrictions or preferences.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as tidying up, laundry, and maintaining a clean living environment.
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and social outings.
• Engage in companionship activities, such as conversation, games, and outings, to promote social interaction and emotional well-being.
• Observe and report any changes in clients' physical or mental condition to the appropriate supervisor.
• Maintain accurate records of services provided and report any concerns or incidents promptly.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a caregiver or a related field is preferred, but we also welcome individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others.
• Compassionate and empathetic nature with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with clients and their families.
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy with a strong work ethic.
• Physical ability to assist clients with mobility and perform light household tasks.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance and access to a reliable vehicle (preferred).
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

• Competitive pay rates based on experience and performance (Current caregiver rate range in Kansas: $14 - $17 per hour).
• Weekend differential pay for working on Saturdays and Sundays. It is an incentive of an additional $2 per hour on top of regular pay for weekend shifts.
