Direct Support Professional Responsibilities:

• Providing direct care and supervision for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities to increase their independence in their home and community
• Providing support with medical and specialist appointments and ensuring accurate documentation of each appointment
• Providing support with daily activities including but not limited to hygiene, volunteer, or leisure actives
• Completing all required documentation
• Participating in meetings with individual support plan team to create inclusive and person-centered services
• Participating in initial and on-going staff training and development activities

Direct Support Professional Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older with valid driver's license and personal vehicle
• Experience with providing support to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities preferred
