What are the responsibilities and job description for the Activities Aide position at Angels Senior Living?

We are looking for an individual with skill, ability and compassion to fulfill our full-time and part-time Activities Aide positions. The person we are looking for fully understands the health value for seniors who are involved in social and physical activities. We are looking for someone with endless energy who also is an effective motivator of residents while never running out of new and creative Life Enrichment Activities that make every hour of every day, EXCITING and FUN. The Activity Coordinator promotes three principles of assisted living: Offering choice, maintaining dignity, and promoting individuality to create an environment of "Optimal Living" for all residents.
Candidate must have the following knowledge and skills:
- One years’ experience working with elders in memory care, assisted living, adult day care or related field
- A valid state driver's license and any specialized licenses (or the willingness and capability to acquire) required to operate multi-passenger vehicles
- Skilled at building relationships with residents and families
- Meet all health requirements, including acceptable TB results
- Meet State requirements on criminal background check
- Be a minimum of 18 years of age
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
