Position Summary: The Field Supervisor (home health care) will provide guidance and training to staff in the field and will evaluate their performance in the field. These supervisors are also responsible for collecting and documenting paperwork, following up with clients during visits, and occasionally filling in where needed.
Position Qualifications:
- CNA or Home Health Aide Certification Preferred
- Minimum one year experience with home health and/or hospice or professional equivalent.
- Management or Supervisory experience preferred.
- Amazing WRITTEN AND ORAL communication skills
- Demonstrates use of basic office equipment: computer/laptop , copy machine, fax machine.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft- excel, word
- Capacity to learn and effectively utilize software
- Manages a flexible work schedule (including weekends) in accordance with company attendance and reporting policies.
- Maintains access to reliable vehicle and has a willingness to travel.
- This position requires you to drive daily. Most work will be done in the field.
Duties:
- Provides direction, support and motivation to employees to work towards a common goal.
- Counsels on work related activities in an effort to increase productivity and also for the purpose of development.
- Supervises field performance of caregivers, HHAs and CNAs.
- Understands and complies with state rules, policies and procedures and trains employees, including contract employees, to achieve the same.
- Completes, maintains, and submits reports and records documentation to the owner on a consistent and as needed basis.
- Provides guidance to staff on providing patient care in adhere to the professional standards of community nursing practices.
- Maintains and adheres to Angels To Your Door procedures and patient care policy manuals.
- Participates in the on-call schedule.
- Complies with accepted professional standards and principles.
- Performs other duties and activities as delegated by CEO
- Assists office staff in establishing immediate and long-term goals, in setting priorities, and in developing a plan of care.
- Train new hires
- Update and change out paperwork
- Update CEO and assistant with client/employee changes
- Meet and build rapport with new/existing clients
