PCA/Caregiver

Overview
We are looking for an individual that is looking for part time hours in the Greenville area. Someone that is responsible, willing to work and can be on time. This individual is only MONDAY WEDNESDAY AND FRIDAY. Monday is three hours, Wednesday and Friday are 3.5 hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients.
• Help accompany to doctors' appointments
• Meal prep
• Support clients with mobility and transfers to ensure their safety and comfort.
• Engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being and companionship.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by adhering to health and safety protocols.
• Document client progress and report any changes in health or behavior to the appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and social workers to create a comprehensive care plan tailored to each client’s needs.

Requirements

• Previous experience in nursing homes, social work, or memory care is preferred.
• Knowledge of medication administration protocols and ability to monitor vital signs is essential.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
• Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
• Ability to perform meal preparation and understand dietary restrictions as needed.
• Familiarity with dementia care practices is a plus.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends if required.
