Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fast-paced dining environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest experiences by delivering high-quality service and ensuring customer satisfaction. Your ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with the kitchen staff will contribute to the overall success of our restaurant.

Duties

• Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable.
• Present menus and provide detailed descriptions of food and beverage offerings, including daily specials.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using the OpenTable system or other ordering platforms.
• Upsell menu items by recommending appetizers, desserts, and beverages to enhance the dining experience.
• Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests while maintaining high standards of presentation.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
• Adhere to food safety guidelines and sanitation practices, ensuring all food handling meets industry standards.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and timely preparation of orders.
• Process payments accurately, handling cash and credit transactions with basic math skills.
• Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including sanitizing tables and resetting for new guests.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or fine dining environment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures is essential.
• Excellent guest relations skills with a focus on providing outstanding customer service.
• Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest experiences.
• Basic math skills for processing orders and payments accurately.
• Familiarity with OpenTable or similar restaurant management software is a plus.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment are essential for success in this role.

Pay: From $10.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
