What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supply Chain Director position at ANGI (ALT Fuels)?
The Supply Chain Director will reside in Janesville, WI. S/he will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of our supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and supplier relationships. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in supply chain management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive efficiency and innovation across the supply chain network.
- Develop and execute long-term supply chain strategies aligned with ANGI Energy's goals.
- Optimize supply chain operations to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure on-time delivery.
- Monitor and improve KPIs for delivery performance, cost efficiency, inventory accuracy, and supplier reliability.
- Oversee the Master Schedule to balance department demands, capacity, and inventory.
- Implement inventory strategies to optimize stock levels and prevent stockouts.
- Ensure ERP system integrity by resolving variances and addressing root causes.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and cost-efficiency.
- Identify risks in the supply chain and implement contingency plans.
- Support lean manufacturing and process improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align operations with company objectives
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or a related field.
8 years of supply chain management experience, with 2 years in leadership roles.
Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing and process improvement.
Proven ability to develop teams and implement strategic solutions.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
