Summary
As a Dishwasher at Angie's Restaurant, you will play an essential role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen. This position is vital to ensuring our team can deliver outstanding dining experiences to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashing equipment or by hand.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area and dishwashing station.
- Assist in the preparation of food items as needed under the direction of kitchen staff.
- Ensure that all kitchen utensils and equipment are sanitized and stored properly.
- Monitor dishwashing supplies and notify management when stock is low.
- Support kitchen staff during busy periods by helping with basic food prep tasks.
- Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Good communication skills to interact with kitchen staff effectively.
