What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family Support Specialist position at AngleZ Behavioral Health Services?
The Family Support Specialist is responsible for the following:
· Directly support parents of youth clients with a peer mentor relationship.
· Offer support in building skills, goal setting and managing challenges.
· participate in the Peer advisory meeting to develop outreach to the community, identify gaps in peer services and training needs, and review the consumer advisory feedback and plan of action as an agency
· Provide individualized direct support according to that person’s treatment plan by supporting the individual’s choice and building confidence.
· Assists with working towards treatment plan set goals & help with overcoming obstacles that may arise while working towards goals.
· Working closely with the Behavioral Health Home team members.
· Documentation of time spent with members.
· All other tasks as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
