Responsibilities
- Perform routine custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
- Maintain floors through various methods such as buffing and waxing to ensure a polished appearance.
- Conduct thorough cleaning of restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition.
- Handle industrial cleaning tasks with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Support residential painting projects when required, maintaining a clean work environment.
- Act as a porter by transporting materials or supplies as necessary throughout the facility.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel promptly.
Experience
- Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment operation is beneficial.
- Experience in facilities maintenance or industrial cleaning is a plus.
