Senior Cyber Underwriter, Chicago
Angove Partners is working with a global insurance company, seeking cyber underwriters based in Chicago.
About the role :
This will be an opportunity to join an established and growing global company looking to expand their Chicago office with more hires.
Responsibilities include :
- Risk Assessment
Evaluate and analyze cyber risk exposure for clients, including their IT infrastructure, security measures, and past cyber incidents.
Assess applications for cyber insurance coverage, determining appropriate policy terms, limits, and premiums based on risk profiles.
Advise clients on risk mitigation strategies and cybersecurity best practices to reduce the likelihood of claims.
Stay updated on emerging cyber threats, industry trends, and regulatory changes to adjust underwriting practices accordingly.
Work closely with brokers, agents, and risk managers to gather relevant client information and determine appropriate coverage.
Ensure underwriting processes comply with legal, regulatory, and industry standards related to cyber insurance.
