Your primary responsibilities will include greeting customers, taking orders, and assisting with various front-of-house tasks to enhance the overall dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all special requests are noted.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Handle cash and process payments accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area, including dining tables, counters, and restrooms.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas for events or peak service times.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication and service flow.
- Address customer inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally to ensure guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
