Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)
This role will oversee a broad range of functions, including collaborating with the HR team to manage all legal aspects of employment matters, including investigations, terminations, and dispute resolution.
Support organizational initiatives aimed at fostering an inclusive and legally compliant workplace culture.
Provide expert legal guidance on employment law, including Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) compliance, workplace policies, and employee relations.
Work together with leadership to structure and negotiate partnerships, joint ventures, and other strategic investments.
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with vendors, contractors, service providers, and other stakeholders.
Collaborate with insurance carriers, brokers, and vendors to maintain effective relationships and resolve issues.
Stay current with federal and state regulations, including ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, and ERISA, to ensure compliance.
Support the annual benefits renewal and open enrollment processes.
Establish and administration of employee 401(k) plan, including reporting eligibility, preparing participant census data, and managing the 401(k)-audit process.
Supervise HR/Payroll team, consisting of two corporate HR representatives.
Analyze and report on benefits utilization and recommend improvements to enhance employee satisfaction and cost efficiency.
