Job Purpose:
In charge of the accounting process, accountable for ongoing analysis of process constraints, review financial statements for accuracy and legal compliance, enter accounting related information into business logs, inspect account books for efficiency and accuracy, Organize and update financial records. Including the O2C (Order to Cash) process, accountable for ongoing analysis of process constraints, AR collection, supervision of revenue recognition vs costs tracking to underlying activities and variances analysis related. Also, the P2P process, accountable for ongoing analysis of process constraints, costing projects, costs tracking to underlying activities and variances analysis related.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
General Accounting:
- Monthly / quarterly / yearly closing management
- SCAR review & posting
- General revenue $ costs accrual
- Annual audit focal point
- Outside audit focal point
Generate and reconcile related accounts sub-ledger to general ledger
Special projects as needed.
Ability to work overtime as needed in order to meet business requirements.
- Overtime is NOT limited to month end closings.
Experience, Education and Licensure
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
- 3 – 5 years of related work experience in Tier 1 or Tier 2 Automotive.
- Multi-Plant experience
- Microsoft Excel: 5 years (Required)
- General Accounting: 3 years (Required)
- Detail oriented
- Strong multi-tasking abilities
- Work independently & in a team environment
- Highly effective organizational skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Proficient with a wide variety of software
