Position Overview:
As an Inventory Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring efficient inventory control, managing stock levels, and supporting the overall supply chain process. Your responsibilities will span from procurement to storage and distribution, focusing on maintaining optimal stock levels to meet customer demands while minimizing costs.
Functional Responsibilities:
Inventory Planning and Analysis
- Assist in implementing inventory management strategies to maintain optimal stock levels based on trends, lead times, and demand forecasts.
- Support inventory analysis to identify slow-moving or obsolete items and suggest actions to reduce excess stock.
Inventory Tracking and Control
- Monitor stock levels, track movements, and identify consumption patterns to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Participate in cycle counting, periodic stock audits, and reconciliation processes.
Warehouse Management
- Help organize and maintain the warehouse to optimize space usage and ensure safe, systematic inventory storage.
- Assist in receiving and replenishment processes for timely processing of inbound stock.
Compliance and Documentation
- Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety standards and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Support documentation processes related to inventory transactions and audits.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 years of experience in inventory management or a related role.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with inventory management software and ERP systems.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for cross-team interactions.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
