Our prestigious Plastic Surgery & Breast Reconstruction Practice is seeking a highly skilled, outgoing, experienced, and reliable Certified Medical Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be bilingual, task-oriented, and dedicated to providing exceptional back-office patient care. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient clinical environment by assisting with various back-office duties and maintaining high standards of care for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Back Office Patient Care: Provide direct care to patients in the back office setting, ensuring comfort and safety throughout their visit.
- Vital Signs & Patient Monitoring: Take and record vital signs (blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, oxygen levels) accurately.
- Blood Draws: Perform venipuncture for blood draws and handle specimens appropriately.
- Sterile Field Setup: Assist in setting up a sterile field for various procedures and surgeries, ensuring all necessary supplies are prepared and sterile.
- Instrument Care & Sterilization: Clean and autoclave instruments, ensuring compliance with infection control standards.
- Assist with Procedures: Provide assistance to the physician during surgical and non-surgical procedures.
- Patient Education: Educate patients on pre-operative and post-operative care instructions, as well as general health and wellness guidance.
- Administrative Support: Assist with scheduling, patient check-in, and preparation of patient files.
- Clinical Documentation: Accurately document patient information and treatment notes in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.

Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
