Overview
ANIK is a data collecting firm, seeking Experience Ambassadors (Field Interviewers) for our Tucson, Enhancement Project. The city of Tucson will be engaging in passenger data collecting, something we like to call human connection. Project dates, start January 28th through the end of March. As an Experience Ambassador, you will engage and connect with bus travelers as you request digital, experience questionnaires. The data collected will help with the improvement of transit such as Sun Tran, Sun Link and Sun Shuttle in the Tucson region. It will help overall transportation by using collected data in planning and forecasting.
Report Location
- Report locations will be throughout the Tucson region.
- Main location: Ronstadt Transit Center, Secondary location: Roy Laos Transit Center, Other locations: Udall Station and Tohono Center etc.
- Parking will most likely not be available downtown and bus passes will be provided for staff in order to get to and from assignments.
Responsibilities
Experience Ambassadors are responsible for:
- Arriving at their pre-scheduled location throughout Tucson region.
- Connect in-person with travelers to request their participation in a 5 minute questionnaire.
- Conduct tablet questionnaire and input data in tablet, never hand tablet to passengers.
- Return to starting location to return work, receive supervisor feedback, and receive a report time and location for the following day.
Qualifications
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Punctual. A missed bus is a missed shift.
- Outgoing and natural communicator.
- Bilingual is encouraged, but not required.
- Excited about community improvement and innovation.
- Ability to stand on moving transportation for extended periods.
- Proficient in Apple iPad and Google maps.
- At least 18 years of age
Details
Pay Rate: $19.00 / hour
Start Date: Jan 28th, 2025
Length of project: about 2 months
Attire:
- Comfortable shoes preferably with rubber soles for safety (high heels not recommended)
- No T-shirts with graphic designs
- Pants with no tears or sagging
- No facial tattoos or facial piercings
Available Shifts:
Monday - Thursday (excluding holidays) and occasional Saturday or Sunday
- Shift options: AM, 5am-2pm and PM, 1pm-10pm.
Specific shift times and locations will vary daily based on transit departure times.
*This position has the ability to extend into a contractual travel position with ANIK as an Experience Ambassador for additional exciting events and experiences nationwide.*
