Job Title: Experience Ambassador - Workplace Survey Interviewer – Rio Grande, TX
Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time (Mon-Thu)
Location: Rio Grande Valley, TX (East Region – Harlingen, Brownsville, Weslaco, and surrounding areas)
Pay: $18/hour $0.70/mile reimbursement
Start Date: Training on Monday, March 3rd (Mandatory)Project Duration: Approximately 3-4 weeks (March 4 – March 21, with possible work the week of March 24)
Job Description:
We are hiring bilingual field interviewers for a Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Workplace Survey in the Rio Grande Valley. Interviewers will be stationed outside various businesses, counting visitors and employees as they enter/exit and conducting short surveys with departing individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel to assigned business locations (up to 75 miles/day).
- Count the number of people entering/exiting businesses.
- Conduct brief exit surveys with visitors and employees.
- Accurately record and report collected data.
Requirements:
✅ Must be bilingual (English & Spanish)✅ Must have reliable transportation (personal vehicle required; mileage reimbursed at $0.70 per mile)✅ Ability to work Monday through Thursday for the duration of the project✅ Comfortable working outdoors, standing for long periods✅ Strong interpersonal skills & attention to detail✅ Must attend a mandatory paid training in Edinburg/McAllen on March 3rd
Schedule & Compensation:
- $18/hour (paid for all time spent working at assigned locations)
- Mileage reimbursement at $0.70 per mile
- Work up to 40 hours per week
