We are currently seeking a bright, energetic , and friendly individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in veterinary medicine and a propensity to work well with an active and diverse clientele. The Receptionist will greet clients and answer phones in a calm, informative manner. As an Assistant you will help the Veterinarian with exam and perform vital laboratory testing. The ideal candidate has previous experience working in a veterinary office.
Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct telephone calls.
- Assist customers with scheduling appointments.
- Assist with handling incoming emergencies.
- Perform office clerical duties.
- Handle email correspondence.
- Handle cash and credit card payments from clients.
- Assist with filing, faxing, copying, scanning, and organizing patient records and documents.
- Animal Restraint for exam and testing.
- Performing medical tests. X-Ray, Fecal Floatation, Blood collection and processing.
- Stocking & Inventory
- Assist in exams and surgery .
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20-35 hours per week
