We are seeking a compassionate and organized Veterinary Receptionist to join our dedicated team. Responsibilities
- Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a positive experience from the moment they enter the clinic.
- Schedule appointments, manage patient records, and maintain an organized filing system.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, procedures, and pet care.
- Assist in the intake process by collecting necessary information about pets, including medical history and vaccination records.
- Handle payments and manage billing inquiries with accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with veterinary staff to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care and treatment plans.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area while adhering to health and safety protocols.
- Provide basic animal handling support during appointments as needed, including animal restraint and comfort.
- Assist in inventory sales for clients on both the small and large animal side.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a veterinary or animal care setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal anatomy, and basic animal husbandry practices is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in animal handling techniques, including dog handling and restraint methods.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients, staff, and animals.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A genuine love for animals combined with a commitment to providing high-quality care.
- Knowledge of cattle vaccines and herd health protocols would be desirable.

Pay: $14.98 - $16.00 per hour
