Animal Clinic Northview is looking for a kennel assistant to join our growing animal clinic.
Established in 1977, our AAHA accredited clinic has an outstanding reputation, focusing on patients, clients, and our staff. We utilize state-of-the-art equipment including digital radiography, digital ultra-sonography, endoscopy, laparoscopy, orthopedics, underwater treadmill rehabilitation, therapeutic laser treatment, a full, in-house lab and pharmacy. We excel in providing preventative, advanced, and 24-hour emergency care including reproduction and rehabilitation services. Our 36,000 square foot facility includes an expanded rehabilitation center, reproduction center, 24-hour ICU and the addition of a CT scanner.
Ideal candidates must:
· Have a minimum one-two-year veterinary clinic or animal shelter kennel assistant experience.
· Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
· Be able to work independently or with a team.
· Be compassionate.
· Be detail oriented with solid communication skills.
· Be positive and friendly.
· Able to remain calm in emergency situations, with strong multi-tasking skills.
Responsibilities include cleaning cages, feeding, and caring for patients, including exercising them, documenting observations, doing laundry, dish washing, cleaning, and monitoring floors, disposing of trash, aftercare process for patients, clean and maintain premises inside and out.
