We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Veterinary Practice Manager Assistant to oversee the daily operations of our veterinary clinic. Duties
- Manage the daily operations of the veterinary practice, including staff supervision, scheduling, and workflow management.
- Ensure compliance with veterinary standards, regulations, and protocols.
- Oversee financial management tasks such as budgeting, billing, and inventory control.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional development among staff.
- Implement and maintain effective communication channels between staff, clients, and external partners.
- Coordinate patient care activities including animal handling, restraint, and grooming as needed.
- Ensure adherence to aseptic techniques in all clinical procedures.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance practice efficiency and patient care quality.
- Stay updated on veterinary terminology and industry best practices to support staff training and development.
Qualifications
- Proven or related field is required.
- Strong knowledge of veterinary critical care practices and animal husbandry.
- Proficiency in animal handling techniques including dog handling and kennel management.
- Responsible for management of personnel, marketing & client relations, financial management, and hospital operations. The critical competencies for this position include analytical skills, relationship building, excellent communication skills and the ability to plan and prioritize. A strong business background, leading teams, and previous practice management experience is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills to facilitate effective communication with clients and team members.
