Animal Emergency Hospital is seeking an Experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician looking to take their skills to the next level! Animal Emergency Hospital is a fast-paced Emergency Hospital that is dedicated to the care of our patients and their families. This LVT candidate will be comfortable with critical thinking, critical anesthesia, CRIs, transfusion medicine, oxygen therapy, feeding tubes, and exceptional patient care abilities, and all other duties performed during emergency situations.
Animal Emergency Hospital prides itself on being the local go-to hospital when pets are in trouble in the Burton and surrounding areas. Our ideal candidate has a strong focus on exceptional patient care with an understanding of the importance of client communication. We are looking for someone who is team-oriented, organized, and willing to learn new skills and able to help out in all areas of the hospital when needed. The veterinary industry is constantly advancing, and we encourage our staff to do the same. - Shifts are 10 or 12 hours
- Part-time hours are available
Hours of operation:
Monday - Thursday 10:00 am - 8:00 pm
Friday - 8am -Midnight
Saturday/Sunday 8 am - Midnight

Requirements
- Licensed Veterinary Technician; license must be current in the state of Michigan.
- 2-3 years of veterinary technician experience in ER
- Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
- Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
- Understands the importance of excellent communication skills
- Must be able to work weekends, overnights, and holidays.
