Overview :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Licensing Specialist to manage a diverse portfolio of pharmaceutical licenses, including wholesale distributor, third-party logistics provider, controlled substance, and pharmacy licenses across all 50 states. As a key member of our licensing team, you will handle complex licensing issues, support regulatory research, and ensure timely license renewals for your assigned portfolio. This role requires close collaboration with state and federal regulatory agencies, including the Board of Pharmacy, DEA, FDA, Department of Agriculture, and other authorities, as well as internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities :
Oversee a portfolio of licenses for wholesale distributors, third-party logistics providers, and pharmacies, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
Resolve complex issues related to license applications, renewals, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Conduct thorough regulatory research related to facility licensure, interpreting, and making decisions based on state and federal laws.
Maintain responsibility for the on-time renewal of all licenses within your assigned portfolio.
Collaborate with regulatory agencies such as the Board of Pharmacy, DEA, FDA, Department of Agriculture, and other state and federal bodies to address inquiries and ensure compliance.
Serve as a resource for internal stakeholders regarding licensing matters and regulatory compliance.
Assist in preparing and managing the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP) accreditation process.
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
3 years related experience.
Proven experience with licensing and / or working with State Regulatory Agencies.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Strong legal research skills and the ability to interpret complex state and federal laws.
Preferred Qualifications :
Paralegal Certificate or similar professional qualification.
Notary Designation.
Proficient with SharePoint and the Microsoft Office suite of products.

The potential compensation range for this role is below. The final offer amount would be based on various factors such as candidate location (geographical labor market), experience, and skills.$75,300.00 - $92,200.00
