What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tax Accountant position at Animal Health International?
Tax Accountant is responsible for U.S. federal and state income tax returns, quarterly estimated payment computations, assisting with research and planning projects, developing policies and procedures and working with our IT department on companywide technology initiatives to optimize tax data collection processes.

Support corporate tax, compliance, & provision functions
Prepare supporting documentation for quarterly and annual tax accounting analyses and related journal entries and account reconciliations.
Prepare quarterly estimate tax payments and schedule M adjustments at appropriate quarterly and annual intervals
Support a strong control environment. Hold self and others accountable for continuous improvement for internal controls.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in accounting or finance
1-5 years of experience in an accounting role or relevant experience
Excellent prioritization & organizational skills to manage multiple deliverables
Verbal & written communication skills that provide direct, succinct messages and can be understood by financial and non-financial business partners
Ability to identify areas of improvement and work with management to optimize processes
Proficiency in MS Office : Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience with SAP
Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
The potential compensation range for this role is below. The final offer amount would be based on various factors such as candidate location (geographical labor market), experience, and skills.$58,900.00 - $72,200.00
Salary : $58,900 - $72,200
