We are looking for a Client Service Representative (CSR) to serve as the welcoming face and voice of our hospital. Your role will be essential in ensuring our clients and their furry companions feel supported and valued throughout their experience with us.
What You’ll Do
Service Excellence
- Warmly welcome clients and assist with check-in/check-out processes.
- Manage customer communications (calls, emails, texts) promptly and professionally.
- Address concerns and resolve issues empathetically, ensuring satisfaction.
- Process payments accurately while maintaining confidentiality.
- Provide information about our services, including sensitive topics like end-of-life care, with compassion and understanding.
Operational Focus
- Monitor wait times and suggest improvements for workflow efficiency.
- Engage clients while they wait, creating a comfortable and friendly atmosphere.
- Stay calm and solutions-oriented during busy or high-pressure moments.
Collaboration
- Build meaningful relationships with pet parents and their beloved pets.
- Support your team by proactively identifying ways to improve client experiences.
- Participate in ongoing learning to continuously refine your customer service skills.
What You’ll Need
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years in a customer service role (veterinary or medical experience a plus).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with computer systems; familiarity with Cornerstone software is an advantage.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to connect with diverse clients.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Emotional Intelligence: Empathy, patience, and the ability to adapt to different situations.
- Positive Attitude: A friendly and professional demeanor with a passion for helping others.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
