Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate Veterinarian. The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for examining and treating small and medium-sized pets, performing surgeries and dental procedures, taking digital images and interpreting results, prescribing medications and treatments, and educating pet owners about animal care and health issues.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of veterinary medicine and techniques
- Excellent diagnostic, surgical, and medical skills
- Effective communication skills with both clients and staff members
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution
- Active Tennessee state veterinary license and DEA registration
- Prior experience working in a clinical veterinary setting is preferred but not required
