Position Overview:
We are looking for a compassionate and highly organized Full-Time Veterinary Receptionist to support the efficient operations of our busy veterinary clinic. As the first point of contact for our clients, this role is essential to providing excellent customer service and helping to create a seamless experience for our clients and their pets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and their pets with warmth, professionalism, and care.
- Answer phones, respond to emails, and manage online inquiries.
- Schedule and confirm appointments, manage the clinic's calendar.
- Check in and check out clients, processing payments, and handling billing.
- Maintain and update patient records in a detailed and accurate manner.
- Assist clients with questions about services, medications, and treatment plans.
- Coordinate between clients and veterinary team members to ensure smooth communication.
- Provide exceptional service and support to clients, addressing concerns with empathy.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the reception area.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a veterinary clinic, medical office, or customer service role is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well with clients and their pets, handling all situations with kindness and patience.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency with office equipment, including phone systems and scheduling software.
- A team player who values collaboration and is eager to contribute to a positive work environment.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with veterinary software and electronic medical records is a plus.
- Experience in a front-office role, handling customer service or administrative tasks.
