Animal Specialty & Emergency Center of Brevard is looking for an experienced Veterinary Customer Service Representative.
Schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 7am to 7pm. Three 12-hour shifts. Full time with benefits.

About You:
· You are experienced in Veterinary Customer Service. You have experience facilitating the flow of Clients and Information through the hospital so Patients can be treated and returned to their owners.
· You are the face of the hospital. Your positivity makes a great impression on our customers.
· You are calm, compassionate, clear, and concise in your interactions with all clients.
· You are competent with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
Key Responsibilities:
o Answering and managing phone calls.
o Triage incoming patients/rooms. Greet incoming clients/patients.
o Assisting clients with check-in forms. Verify client information at each check in.
o Schedule patient appointments on appropriate days and times. Route calls or take messages.
o Confirming appointments with phone calls. Process and handle follow up calls.
o Utilize computer workstation and practice management software.
o Constant communication with technicians and doctors.
o Check on patients/clients in exam rooms and keep them updated
o Checking incoming emails and faxes. Calling for records from referring DVM’s.
o Processing all forms of payment with credit card terminals. Cash handling.
o Understanding and following protocols and SOP’s
o General housekeeping (Lobby / Exam Rooms / Front portico).
Qualifications
o Experience working in a Veterinary Hospital (Required)
o High School Graduate
o Strong interpersonal skills
o Enthusiastic attitude, desire to help people
o Able to function in a fast paced, stressful environment in a mature, professional manner
Knowledge & Skills
o Ability to learn and use Practice Information System
o Basic use of Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook)
o Basic medical terminology and abbreviations.
o Communication / Multi-tasking / Positive attitude.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 per week
