Our animal care facility is in search of a kennel technician to join our compassionate and motivated team. The ideal candidate will be an individual that is ready and willing to work in a fast-paced environment. As a kennel technician, they will be expected to provide exceptional customer service to every client that comes in, so we are looking for someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Additionally, they should possess reliable transportation to and from work to ensure that they are punctual and able to meet the needs of our busy schedule.
The duties of a kennel technician at our facility are varied and challenging, but extremely rewarding. Our team is dedicated to ensuring that every animal in our care is healthy, safe, and receiving the attention and care that they deserve. As such, the ideal candidate will be responsible for feeding and caring for all of our animals, which may include dogs, cats, and other small animals. They will also be tasked with cleaning and sanitizing all kennels, as well as assisting with animal handling, which may involve walking and exercising dogs, playing with cats, and providing general comfort to all of our animals.
In addition to the above responsibilities, a kennel technician at our facility may also be required to administer medication as directed. Therefore, it is important that our candidates are detail-oriented, organized, and able to accurately follow all instructions.
Above all, we are looking for an individual with a deep passion for animals who is dedicated to providing an excellent experience for our clients and their pets. Previous experience working with animals is preferred, but not required.
