What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Technician position at Animal Medical Hospital?
We are a busy three doctor small animal and exotic practice and boarding kennel located in St. Petersburg, FL looking for a full-time team member to join our family-like environment!

Qualifications include taking client histories; assisting in exam rooms; venipuncture; placing IV catheters; taking digital x-rays;running in-house lab work; monitoring anesthesia; dental prophylaxis and charting; and digital dental radiographs. Experience with Cornerstone and Heska lab equipment a plus.
A typical work day requires flexibility; continuous attention to detail; the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and being able to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands. We are looking for someone who has flexibility to work varying shifts during our work hours: Monday-Friday: 7:00AM-6:00 PM; Saturdays: 8:00 AM-12:00 PM. Holiday rotation required.
