What are the responsibilities and job description for the Visitor Service Liaison position at Animal Rescue League of Boston?

The Animal Rescue League of Boston (ARL), one of New England’s leading animal welfare organizations, is seeking a full-time Visitor Service Liaison to join our organization. This position is based out of our Brewster (Cape Cod) location. This position is scheduled for 30 hours per week (benefits eligible), with a schedule of Wednesday through Saturday, 12:30pm to 6:30pm.

What you will do:
Use your skills to make a difference by becoming a part of one of the best and oldest animal welfare organizations! Here’s how:
- Welcome and assist visitors, donors, and clients at the Brewster Animal Care & Adoption Center lobby in a friendly and courteous manner;
- Answer the telephone promptly, provide callers with excellent customer service, take messages, and transfer calls as needed;
- Respond to general inquiry emails as they arrive to shared inboxes;
- Receive and process monetary donations;
- Manage flow of foot traffic in the Brewster Animal Care & Adoption Center as needed during open hours.
The schedule for this position is 30 hours per week: Wednesday through Sunday, 12:30pm to 6:30pm.
