Dog Bather/Grooming Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pet Bather to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing bathing and blow drying services to pets, ensuring their cleanliness and comfort while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will possess a love for animals, be dependable and reliable, and the ability to handle various breeds with care and professionalism.

Duties

• Bathe and dry pets using appropriate techniques and equipment.
• Inspect pets for any signs of skin issues or abnormalities and report findings to the grooming team.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bathing area, grooming tools, and equipment.
• Assist in handling pets during grooming sessions, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Support kennel operations as needed, including feeding, walking, and monitoring pets in care.
• Cleaning and maintaining salon enviroment

Requirements

• Previous experience in pet grooming or animal handling is preferred but not required.
• Strong skills in dog handling and animal restraint techniques.
• Background in veterinary care or as a veterinary technician is a plus.
• Experience in kennel work, pet sitting, or animal care is beneficial.
• A genuine passion for animals and commitment to their well-being.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $8.50 - $10.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 – 18 per week
