The Animal Wellness Center is dedicated to healing with compassion and care. We offer a range of services including surgery, dentistry, preventive care, laser therapy, ultrasound, digital x-rays, and in-house lab services for blood work, fecal testing, boarding, and pet grooming.
Role Description
This is an on-site Veterinarian role located in Kokomo, IN. The Veterinarian will be responsible for providing medical care to animals, performing surgeries, conducting dental procedures, and offering preventive care services. Additionally, the Veterinarian will diagnose illnesses, prescribe medications, and educate pet owners on proper animal care. This position is for full-time (32 hour/week) NO weekends required, NO on-call required.
Qualifications
- Veterinary Medicine, Surgery, and Preventive Care skills
- Ability to diagnose illnesses and prescribe medications
- Experience in conducting dental procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
- State Veterinary License and DVM degree required
- Experience with exotic animals is a plus
- Interest or experience in homeopathy is preferred
Salary : $100,000 - $140,000
