What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Assistant position at Animal Wellness Clinic?
Experienced Veterinary Assistant needed for AAHA accredited veterinary clinic located 8 miles west of Gettysburg, PA. Minimum 2 years experience preferred but will train. Fulfilling all duties associated with assisting in a veterinary practice including but not limited to customer care, in patient and out patient care, surgical assistance and laboratory duties. Successful applicant will have the physical strength and ability to stand for an entire shift when needed, be able to lift pets and objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance and assist in lifting patients weighing more than 50 pounds. Our clinic is paper light, utilizes digital radiology, in house laboratory and has spacious exam rooms. Competitive Salary and Benefits package available.
