What are the responsibilities and job description for the Client Service Representative for Veterinary Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy Clinic position at Animals Only?
Essential Job Duties include, but not limited to:
- Be an essential and responsible member of our patient care team and work closely with all other team members
- Always exercise professional, patient, respectful communication
- Be able to accurately describe and discuss the treatments offered at our clinic to current and potential clients including but not limited to underwater treadmill, laser, shockwave, massage, physical therapy / fitness, chiropractic, weight loss, and more
- Have an organized and thorough approach to patient information gathering from clients and referring veterinarians
- Work closely with clinic manager to refine operation efficiency
- Manage the daily flow / pace of the incoming and outgoing patients
- Be available at front desk for client assistance at all times
- Skilled multi-tasking for check-in process, check-out process, scheduling / rescheduling appointments, confirming appointments, sending and receiving patient records and documents, managing phone calls and voicemails, ensuring all payments are received for services
- Working with electronic medical record software, computer and phones
- Maintain clinic cleanliness and organization in accordance with hospital protocols
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient record keeping
- Assist with exceptional client education and communication in accordance with hospital protocols
- Ability to use electronic medical record systems efficiently and accurately - EzyVet Software preferred
- Perform all other duties as assigned
- Ability to assist all team members as needed, including veterinarians, technicians, practice manager, and other client service representatives
- Ability to work both independently and as an essential part of a team
- Ability to work with, safely restrain, and lift companion animals of all sizes
- Ability to correctly assess patient body language and adjust handling protocol to reduce patient stress and increase compliance
- Ability to communicate respectfully, patiently, and accurately with clients and other staff members
- Ability to accurately communicate policies to clients and consistently enforce them
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, jog, stoop, bend, twist, kneel, and/or crouch for long periods of time
- Be regular in attendance and timeliness
Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of fast-paced veterinary customer service experience
- Have a personal interest and/or experience with integrative medicine
- Know how to pronounce common veterinary terms and give basic descriptions of the treatments offered at our clinic
- Proficient and efficient computer and phone skills
Details:
- Job Type: Full-time or Part-time
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 hour shift; no nights, no weekends; subject to change
- Work location: in person
- Pay: Negotiable $20.00 - $22.00 per hour based on experience
