What are the responsibilities and job description for the Contract Cabinet Installer position at Animas Kitchen & Bath?
Seeking 1099 contractors for cabinetry installation for this manufactured cabinet retail company in Durango, CO. Contracts are on a per-job basis. You'll have the opportunity to quote on specific projects. We do not pay hourly. You will work for yourself as a subcontractor of our business on a specific job. You can bid on as many or as few jobs as you want. We expect you to stay through completion of the job, and support warranty/punch-list items.
Responsibilities include installation of kitchen and other cabinets in new homes and remodels, including any finish trim work needed (baseboards, crown, etc).
Installers should have experience in cabinet installation. Other trade experience is helpful. Must be customer focused and able to positively represent the business to builders, homeowners, other contractors on the worksite, etc throughout the installation and whenever on the job site.
Must have your own tools and transportation. We deliver the cabinetry to the worksite, so you do not need to transport the cabinets yourself.
Your 1099 contractor business must have $1M General Liability Insurance and list our business as an additional insured. GL Insurance is an inexpensive insurance that protects you, and it is easy to get; we are happy to provide a referral for you to get GL Insurance if you do not have it already.
