Role Overview
As a Senior HR Program Manager, you’ll design and scale world-class people programs across Anime Universe’s expanding global workforce. From performance systems to leadership pathways, equity-driven compensation to culture rituals—you'll drive initiatives that keep our team growing, aligned, and inspired.
What You'll Own
Drive Key HR Programs:
- Lead initiatives in performance management, talent mobility, HR analytics, and retention programs across AU cores and subsidiaries.
- Architect, execute, and scale HR systems that support equity-based partner models, sprint-to-sprint evaluations, and milestone-based bonuses.
- Design career progression pathways, onboarding flows, and leadership development frameworks.
- Partner with department leads to identify high-potential individuals and create growth plans.
- Operationalize merit-based compensation, equity progression systems, and loyalty-based share distributions.
- Ensure alignment between business milestones and equity reward structures.
- Act as the connective tissue across Product, Legal, Tech, and Studios to ensure people programs support company-wide goals.
- Coordinate with Compensation, Tokenomics, and Analytics leaders to co-develop shared frameworks.
- Bring culture rituals, creator competitions, and anime-inspired engagement events to life across regions.
- Reinforce clarity, respect, and impact-driven work environments in every program you lead.
- Use project management tools and AU’s Catalyst Ignition and Ebb & Flow frameworks to deliver clear outcomes on time.
- Translate strategic people vision into execution-ready roadmaps.
What You Bring to the Table
- You design scalable frameworks, not just policies.
- You love turning chaos into clarity and building tools that outlast individuals.
- You connect with leaders, partners, and team members with clarity and empathy.
- You translate complex ideas into actionable steps with stakeholder buy-in.
- Demonstrated success leading high-visibility, cross-functional HR programs.
- 8 years in People Operations, Program Management, or Talent Strategy roles, ideally within tech, startups, or creative sectors.
- You meet deadlines, own outcomes, and hold others accountable to high standards.
- You’ve shipped programs that changed the way teams work—for the better.
- You deeply care about growth, fairness, equity, and human potential.
- You know how to embed values into real, repeatable systems.
- PMP, Program Management Certification, or formal training in Agile or project frameworks
- Change Management Certification (e.g., Prosci, ACMP)
- Hands-on experience with implementing or scaling startup HRIS platforms (e.g., BambooHR, Gusto, Lattice, Rippling, Personio, or similar)
- Experience in distributed teams, entertainment, anime, gaming, or creative industries
- Expertise in performance-based equity and tokenized reward systems
- Background in people analytics or HR systems integration (ATS, HRIS, dashboards)
- Familiarity with sprint-based planning cycles
- HR programs are launched on time and making a measurable impact
- Equity and performance systems are driving engagement and retention
- Cross-functional teams are aligned and moving faster with fewer blockers
