What are the responsibilities and job description for the AM/PM Dishwasher/Utility position at Anitas Kitchen?
For over 42 years, Anita’s Kitchen has dedicated itself to traditional Lebanese family recipes and gracious hospitality. Consistently recognized by Hour Detroit and Detroit Metro Times as an award-winning restaurant, Anita’s Kitchen is a destination dining experience for many metro Detroiters. Recently our business has expanded, and we now operate a fully functional commissary kitchen to service our different locations. We'd love for you to join the team!
Role Responsibilities:
- Present & perform with a positive attitude while treating AK teammates with respect
- Perform basic functions of a dishwasher, ensuring cleanliness at all times
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly dish area
- Garbage removal
- Sweep and mop areas of need
- Put utensils and kitchenware in proper places
- Help with prep when needed
- Help with kitchen line as utility position (restock cooks lines during dinner rush, prep food items when needed, help clean after dinner rush)
Basic Qualifications:
- Demonstrate the courteous and helpful attitude that exemplifies our team’s service goal
- Stay on feet for up to 6 hours
- Lift up to 30 lbs
- Follow direction
- Sense of urgency
- Strong communications skills
- Work well as a team
- Basic knife skills

Tuesday- Saturday, 11:30am-9:00pm
