Job Summary
The Sales Support Coordinator is an important member of the Anjon direct channel sales and marketing team. This position plays the lead role in coordinating and executing FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) inventory and fulfillment management, customer service, and returns administration. Additional duties include phone and email sales to new and current customers.
Responsibilities
FBA Inventory & Fulfillment
- Create shipment plans to send inventory to Amazon fulfillment centers; prepare and label products, prepare and label pallets, complete forms to create BOLs, and initiate shipment pick-up.
- Reconcile shipping plans and Amazon fulfillment center receipts; identify lost, damaged, or misidentified products; resolve discrepancies through inventory adjustment or reimbursement.
- Create fulfillment orders to fill reseller and direct channel orders from fulfillment center inventory.
- Initiate returns of overstock, slow-moving, or unfulfillable products at Amazon fulfillment centers.
- Regularly review FBA inventory items; alert teammates if Amazon flags FBA items with "no listing exists for this inventory item."
Customer Service
- Review messages each morning; resolve easy issues, answer simple questions, prioritize and review remaining issues with direct channel teammates.
- Answer customer and prospect online and phone inquiries and questions.
- Answer weekend online inquiries and questions on a rotating basis.
- Process warranty claims, freight claims, errors, and returns.
Returns Administration
- Develop, implement, and administer a returns process that (1) meets the 24-hour turnaround promise for authorized product returns and (2) can be completed in half a day or less.
- Process authorized returns: receive packages, review and follow RMA instructions, evaluate products, determine proper course of action (return to stock, repair, salvage, replace, or return to customer). Complete necessary paperwork and advise the appropriate channel for final resolution.
- Investigate unauthorized returns, determine which sales channel sold the item, notify the selling channel to prepare the appropriate paperwork, and submit the item as an authorized return.
- Maintain the service and repair parts inventory: ensure items are clearly labeled, put away promptly upon receipt in an orderly manner, and notify operations to reorder low and out-of-stock items.
Direct Sales
- Develop a strong base of product knowledge; learn to lead consumers and contractors through water feature design, construction, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Take consumer and contractor phone orders.
- Make outbound phone calls and send emails to increase sales to current customers.
- Identify up-sell, add-on, and related items to generate additional sales of listings in all markets.
