What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineering Senior Technician position at AnMed?
The Senior Technician is considered an expert in healthcare engineering maintenance. The Senior Technician is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of AnMed Health equipment and engineering operations, assisting in all areas of equipment and infrastructure installation and repair. The Senior Technician supports lesser-skilled engineering staff by providing guidance and direction. Additionally, assumes the role of Team Leader as assigned.
Qualifications: To qualify for “Senior Technician” status, one must achieve HS Diploma/GED as well as licensure as a Master Electrician, Plumber, or HVAC technician within the State of S.C. or have 10 years of progressive maintenance experience within the healthcare environment; or 20 years progressive maintenance experience.
