Job Summary
Separation and disposal of all waste products; operation of Rotoclave. Pick up waste from satellite facilities and transport to North Campus Rotoclave for proper disposal. Safely move furniture and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare manifests for all pick ups on route.
- Safely pick up waste from all satellite locations.
- Ensure all waste is packaged correctly and in proper containers for transport.
- Demonstrate professionalism when handling waste pick ups from all customers.
- Record all waste disposal manually and in WasteWatcher program.
- Safely operate Rotoclave and Grinder system for the sterilization and disposal of waste.
- Able to handle work activities with minimal supervision.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in all areas of operation.
- Safely assist with the moving of furniture and equipment.
- Perform tasks with proper body mechanics/procedure, PPE in all aspects of job.
Requirements
HS Diploma or GED equivalent required. Good reading, writing and math skills required. Good computer skills required. Good communication skills required. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Current SC Driver's license required; able to pass physical for DOT Certification.
