SUMMARY:
The Multi-Modality Radiologic Technologist provides technical skills in Radiology and Computed Tomography. This position is responsible for taking radiographs of various anatomical regions of the body to assist physicians in detecting foreign bodies and in diagnosing diseases. Patients served may range in age.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of a two-year radiology technology program from an A.M.A. approved school.
- Requires ARRT certification in Computed Tomography and as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Certification from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA) required.
- At least two years of experience in general radiology procedures and one year's experience in Computed Tomography preferred.
- However, any equivalent combination of experience, education and training which provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities would be acceptable, subject to any legal and/or regulatory requirements.
