The freestanding Emergency Department at AnMed Piedmont is a 10-bed unit dedicated to initial evaluation and care of patients presenting with illness or injury. The Emergency Department is staffed with a board-certified emergency physician and registered nurses. The Emergency Department sees patients with varying acuities and a wide variety of illnesses and injuries from pediatrics to geriatrics.
Summary:
Duties include but are not limited to supervising and directing the nursing unit activities to ensure quality patient care and efficient nursing operations in the Emergency Department. Additional responsibilities include supervising all nursing staff personnel, directing unit quality assurance activities, and assisting in in-service education and/or nursing staff training.
Qualifications: Requires licensed Registered Nurse in South Carolina with three (3) - four (4) years clinical experience. Supervisory skills required. Master's degree required within three (3) years of date of hire. If the Master's Degree is not in nursing then BSN is required with a Master's Degree in related field as approved by the Director/ AVP or CNO. Certification in nursing executive (NE-BC) or nursing executive, advance (NEA-BC) or ability to obtain within 24 months is required.
