What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Sitter position at AnMed?
The patient sitter is a member of AnMed's Resource Team and should expect to float between AnMed units. The Patient Sitter is assigned to remain with a patient who is deemed a risk to themselves or others to ensure the patient is in a safe environment and is visualized at all times.
Duties can include:

Accompanying patients to any procedure off the unit and remaining with the patient in the room, including when needing to go to the bathroom and shower.

Completion of proper documentation

Immediately reports any change in behavior or mood to assigned RN
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED equivalency is required.
