Part-time, seasonal: April through November: 20 - 30 hours/wk

Flexible hours: Generally between 8 am-4 pm weekdays. Hours

can be adjusted to accommodate your needs.

Compensation: $20-$22/hour depending on experience.

The property includes many annuals, perennials, containers,

established trees, hedges, shrubs, a formal garden (Par Terre)

and herb garden. There is also a swimming pool, a tennis court

and outdoor living spaces.

Occasionally a small amount of time will be spent gardening at

several commercial properties.

The gardener works with the property manager to maintain the

gardens and grounds.

General Duties

Responsible for daily upkeep of property.

General gardening duties include weeding, deadheading,

pruning, planting, watering, fertilizing, hedging, mulching, fall

leaf cleanup.

Monitoring irrigation system.

Monitoring for pests. Protect plants from deer and other

destructive animals.

Utilize hand tools and machinery (blower, hedger, trimmer)

properly and safely.

Maintain swimming pool.

Maintain a clean and aesthetically pleasing outdoor living area.

Maintain confidentiality and privacy of estate.

Qualifications

• Experience in gardening or landscaping.

• Knowledge of annuals, perennials, weeds, pests

• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and

effectively.

• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Excellent physical stamina for performing manual labor.

• Excellent work ethic and a good positive attitude
