Job Responsibilities
Preparatory work with EL Coordinator, Curriculum specialists and classroom teachers (February-June)
Develop communication materials for parents, district staff/administrators and SESLA staff
Coordinate student enrollment processes and respond to parent inquiries
Work alongside District EL Coordinator in the hiring of staff, develop class lists, compile pre & post achievement data
Establish and coordinate professional development sequence prior to start of SESLA
Coordinate/facilitate one hour Parent Orientation
Manage all budgetary & accounting responsibilities and maintain a budget spreadsheet and monitor expenditures
Order all necessary supplies and materials
Close out all SESLA purchase orders and personnel action forms at the conclusion of the program
Coordinate all aspects of transportation, including bus routing
Coordinate facility readiness and use
Monitor attendance, budget expenditures, program implementation and required developmental activities
Work with curriculum coordinators to coordinate collaboration with U of M graduate programs.
Assign staff to appropriately
Monitor and ensure EL compliance guidelines in accordance with with state and federal regulations
Regular and reliable attendance
Other duties as assigned
This is a full-time summer position requiring regular and reliable attendance on site to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to staff, parents, students, and administrators
Communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing
Mathematical Skills

Reasoning Ability
